Peninsula Sarasota’s development is led by Sam Gault of Gault Family Companies. To ensure an exceptional, next-level design and meticulous attention to detail, Gault commissioned Sarasota, Florida-based Hoyt Architects, a pioneer of immersive residential experiences. Founding principal Gary Hoyt, who is credited with reshaping Sarasota’s waterfront downtown into a walkable live-and-work community, has an impressive portfolio of over 100 luxury residential communities throughout the nation. Every element of relaxed and tranquil living has also extended to Peninsula Sarasota’s amenity spaces, with interior design by the world-renowned Karen Asprea Studio of New York. Together, this ingenious group has decades of combined experience in intuitive design and proven commitment to innovation that exceeds every expectation.

Sam Gault

A six-generation family business, Gault Family Companies has over 156 years of knowledge in the development industry. As President, Sam operates three business divisions in the Westport, Connecticut area: Energy & Homes Solutions, Stone & Landscape Supplies and Properties & Development. The company has a storied history in real estate development and management, with a healthy property portfolio. Sam has earned a solid reputation for identifying and developing value in commercial, residential, retail, office spaces, and respectfully repurposing historic landmark buildings.

Silverline Construction

As the President and Chief Estimator of Silverline Construction, Fred Basli is a seasoned construction professional boasting 31 years in the industry. Basli is known for his attention to detail and result-driven methodology, consistently delivering efficient buildings and expediting schedules to meet the project’s milestones. He has successfully managed high-profile projects in New York City like the World Trade Center, Goldman Sachs, Pepsi, and the NBA. Notably, he oversaw the construction of the Ernst & Young NYC Headquarters, a 38-story building constructed in between existing skyscrapers, and the Bank of America Tower, a 55-story tower that helped revitalize the 42nd Street midtown area.

Hoyt Architects

Ensuring an exceptional, next-level design, the partners have commissioned the architecture firm Hoyt Architects. Based in Sarasota, Hoyt Architects is renowned for their experiential and innovative approach to design, creating immersive residential spaces unlike any other. Founding principal Gary Hoyt is also credited with shaping the vision of the Quay Sarasota, a bustling dining, shopping, and entertainment district within walking distance of Peninsula Sarasota. Hoyt’s impressive portfolio in the Downtown Sarasota area also includes The Mark, Sansara, and The Jewel.

Chelsea Dunbar, Blu Interiors

Chelsea Dunbar is a Sarasota-based interior designer that has worked for over 15 years on both commercial and residential projects. She is an NCIDQ-certified designer and holds a BFA degree in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Focused on providing a highly personalized level of service with keen attention to detail, she has earned the trust of more than 150 residential clients and counting throughout Sarasota, Siesta Key, and Largo, Florida. At Peninsula Sarasota, Dunbar will assist future homeowners with all of their design needs, selecting the features and finishes that complement each owner’s specific lifestyle wishes.
